Nature has given many spices and herbs which are necessary and essential in day to day life. Each and every spice and herb has some significance which relates to health and beauty. We hardly get time to know all these things, so here is the quick reference which will guide you.

·         Turmeric:   

Health: Cold, Cough, Sour Throat, Sinus, Healing Wounds, Skin problems

Beauty: pimples, body hair, glowing skin

In most of the cases, for above mentioned health problems, a pinch of turmeric should be taken with hot milk before going to bed in the night. For any small wounds or to stop bleeding after cleaning wound with warm water, a little turmeric is directly applied on skin which will help to stop bleeding or in healing the wound fastly.

 For pimples or glowing skin, apply turmeric mixed with milk twice in a week. For few people who feel turmeric don’t suit their skin, they can use a pinch of turmeric in hot water while taking steam.  This will give you a glowing and healthy skin. 

For body hair, one can use fine paste of turmeric with gram flour using milk or water. If applied thrice in a week then it will give good results in removing body hair naturally. Apply it all over the body; let it partially dry for ½ an hour, then wash it with warm water. 

One can even apply mixture of turmeric, gram flour, red lentils flour.
